Collaboration over competition

Here are a few examples of his work in the community to date:
  • September 2016-After the Uprising Men Of Destiny went into Uptown Charlotte with Dani Cook/Free Hugs crew to distribute essential items for our homeless community.
  • November 2016-Men Of Destiny orchestrated a community engagement project with the East Meck Men’s Basketball team where they hit the street of Uptown Charlotte distributing sleeping bags and essential items to our homeless community.
  • April 2017-Men Of Destiny worked with Posit1ve One to bring the P1 Skills and Drills Basketball workouts to the youth at Sugaw Creek Recreation Center free of charge.
  • May 2017-Men Of Destiny provided youth from the Hidden Valley Community for the CMPD Bike Week 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at Queens College.
  • June 2017-Men Of Destiny worked with Ms. Cynthia Perkins-Smith to set up the 5 on 5 rematch basketball game between the teens from Sugaw Creek Recreation Center and CMPD Officer’s.
  • December 2017-Men Of Destiny orchestrated the meeting with 90 middle school youth with our new DA Spencer Merriweather and County Commissioner Pat Cotham.
  • December 2017-Men Of Destiny orchestrated a Best Foot forward meeting with The House of Lemond located in Center City Charlotte and students from Turning Point Academy where the students learned how to dress for success, grooming tips, and how to tie a tie.  
  • December 2017-During the holidays Men Of Destiny, was able to afford 15 students from MLK Middle School an opportunity to receive a $100 gift card from Target and team up with a CMPD Officer to shop for Christmas presents.
  • March-2018-Men of Destiny coordinated with CMPD to bring the CMPD Transparency Workshop to Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School for the Parents.
  • March-2018-Men of Destiny coordinated with CMPD to bring the CMPD Transparency Workshop to Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School for the Scholar’s.
  • April-2018-Men of Destiny provided youth from the Hidden Valley Community for the CMPD Police Week 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at Queens College.
  • May-2018-Men of Destiny coordinated with Charlotte Meditation a Mindfulness Training Session for 53 Scholar’s at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.
  • JUNE-JULY-2018-Men of Destiny will be conducting our Summer 2018 L.O.L. (Levels of Leadership Program) at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.
